Important: Report Quebec is an independent citizen initiative, not affiliated with the Quebec government, police, or the Office de la protection du consommateur.
This service does not replace a lawyer, does not provide any legal opinion, and does not analyze a user's legal rights. We do not give any opinion on the chances of success of your steps or on the interpretation of your rights. For any legal advice, consult a lawyer or notary.
2. Limitation of Liability
Report Quebec does not guarantee:
- Reimbursement of financial losses suffered
- Opening of a police investigation
- Favorable outcome of a banking or judicial process
- Identification or arrest of a fraudster
- Success of any steps taken following our guidance
The user assumes full responsibility for their choices and the steps they take following the use of our services.
3. Content Provided by User
By submitting a report, the user agrees to provide:
- Accurate and truthful information
- Authentic and unfalsified evidence
- A faithful description of the facts
Warning: Any abuse, false declaration, defamation, or fraud attempt may result in immediate closure of the file and, where applicable, legal proceedings.
4. Use of Data
The information provided is used only for the analysis of your situation and may be shared, when relevant and with your consent, with the competent authorities (police, Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre).

5. Administrative Fees
Access to information resources is free. Some personalized support services may require a contribution to the organization's administrative costs.
These contributions are non-refundable once the analysis has begun, except in cases provided for by Quebec's Consumer Protection Act.
6. Prohibitions
It is strictly prohibited to:
- Use the service to harass, threaten, or defame a person
- Impersonate someone else
- Submit a false report or misleading information
- Use the site for illegal purposes or contrary to public order
- Attempt to compromise the security of the site or data
